Running, reading, going to the movies, spending time with family.
I’m originally from Washington State and moved here while in high school. Growing up I was active in dance, competitive gymnastics and competitive cheerleading. I also played softball and volleyball. After graduating from Kempsville High School I attended Virginia Tech where I majored in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise. After graduation I worked for several years before deciding to follow my calling into nursing. After completing nursing school I worked as an labor and delivery nurse for 5 years before obtaining my MSN as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I had the privilege of training and working with Dr. E. Franklin Roberts and Dr. Michael Spriuell at Commonwealth Women’s Healthcare until their retirement. Women’s Heath has always been my passion and I love working with my patients to help them make informed decisions about their body and reproductive health. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, training for half marathons, reading a good book and going to the beach.
